Prerequisites

To enroll, applicants must complete:

  • Online Readiness Assessment: Applicants need a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent documentation.

Program Objectives

The Dental Assistant Program aims to prepare students to:

  • Meet California Dental Practice Act standards for dental assistants.

Upon graduation, students are eligible to take the RDA exam, which is required to practice as a Registered Dental Assistant in California.

This externship experience allows students to apply classroom knowledge in a practical setting, offering networking opportunities and hands-on learning in patient care and dental office operations.
